The Robbins Firm successfully represented a United States Navy veteran before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims after the Veterans Administration denied his claim for benefits due as a result of his service-connected posttraumatic stress disorder. After reviewing the firm’s appeal brief, VA appellate counsel agreed that the Board of Veterans’ Appeals had erred and consented to the relief the firm sought for the veteran: a remand for a new medical examination and a readjudication of the veteran’s PTSD claim in light of both new and previously ignored medical evidence that supported his claim. The parties filed a joint motion to that effect, which the Court granted and adopted as its order.
