Ex-Milton lieutenant granted $15K bond in Cobb crash that killed trucker

November 13, 2025

A former Milton, Georgia police lieutenant, Christopher Bradshaw, 48, was granted a $15,000 bond and released from the Cobb County jail on Wednesday after being held since surrendering three days following an August hit-and-run crash on I-75 that killed 36-year-old truck driver Terrell Lowdermilk; Bradshaw, who was indicted in October on charges of vehicular homicide, hit-and-run, and DUI, allegedly struck Lowdermilk while the truck driver was standing on the interstate on-ramp after a minor earlier collision, and his attorney, Chuck Boring, argued the crash was unavoidable and that his client — a 14-year Milton police veteran with no criminal history who was fired after the arrest — deserved bond, while Lowdermilk’s family remembered him through his obituary as devoted to his mother and to building a career and future through trucking.
