Bid Protest Won on Behalf of Incumbent State Contractor

We represented a client in a successful protest of a Georgia Department of Administrative Services (“DOAS”) Notice of Intent to Award (“NOIA”) a contract with a Georgia state agency to another supplier. After the State indicated its intent to terminate its contract with our client, we acted quickly to protect our client’s interest by identifying numerous errors in the bid procurement process and arguing that those errors, together with important policy considerations, necessitated rescission of the NOIA and cancellation of the request for proposals (“RFP”). DOAS agreed, which preserved our client’s ongoing contract with the State agency.
