Melanie Papadopoulos

Melanie joined the Robbins Firm in February 2022.  Her practice focuses on representing clients in a variety of business disputes in state and federal court and in investigations by government agencies.  She has litigated and resolved numerous issues, including business divorces, claims of fraud, breaches of contract, breaches of fiduciary duty, suits on promissory notes and guaranties, family disputes involving significant family assets, and real estate disputes.  She also has experience representing clients in SEC investigations, including in matters involving technical regulatory violations, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and disclosure fraud.

Prior to joining the firm, Melanie gained experience at a large international law firm representing clients in a variety of industries, from energy and automotive to air transportation and fashion, in complex, high stakes business disputes in state and federal courts across the country. 

Melanie graduated, with honors, from Emory University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Emory International Law Review and received Emory’s Kessler-Eidson Scholarship for Excellence in Trial Techniques.  Melanie earned her B.A. cum laude in International Relations from Tufts University where she served as a Tisch Scholar for Active Citizenship.

Melanie is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia and before the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. She is a member of the Business Litigation and Antitrust Sections of the American Bar Association.
