Kacey Baine

Kacey has experience in investigations and white-collar criminal defense matters, including internal, civil, and criminal.  She has experience representing corporations, institutions, and board committees in handling investigations and government enforcement issues, including allegations involving the False Claims Act, fraud, and securities violations. Prior to joining the firm, Kacey practiced at a large international law firm, focusing on white-collar matters. 

Kacey graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law in 2022 and was elected to the Order of the Coif.  Immediately after graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Shawn Ellen LaGrua in the Supreme Court of Georgia.  While attending law school, she served as an extern with the Cyber Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Georgia, where she worked on criminal matters related to cybersecurity, assisted with witness interviews, and supported Assistant U.S. Attorneys through a multi-count wire and mail fraud trial.  She also participated in Law Review, the Student Bar Association, and Moot Court during law school.  Before attending law school, Kacey worked at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. 

Kacey is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia and before the Northern District of Georgia.

Kacey is a board member of the Junior Committee of Camp Twin Lakes and has served on the Young Professional’s Host Committee for Grady Hospital.
