Robbins Firm attorneys Richard Robbins and Dan Monahan recently secured a highly favorable dispossessory order in Fulton County for a real estate investment company in a case involving apartment complex fraud committed by Claxton Kelly, LLC d/b/a Space Share America.  Space Share America is co-owned by Eric Charlton Claxton, who is currently serving a federal prison sentence for other fraudulent real estate schemes perpetrated in various states.  The case involved the fraudulent takeover of an apartment complex in the booming Midtown neighborhood of Atlanta which deprived our client of any rental income on the property it owned.  Mr. Robbins and Mr. Monahan secured an order granting our client immediate possession of the property, significant damages and attorneys’ fees.  This is the second successful case for the firm against Mr. Claxton, having previously obtained a favorable judgment against Mr. Claxton, his affiliate entity The Claxton Group, Inc., and others in a similar matter also involving apartment complex fraud.
