Michelle is a certified court interpreter (including with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia) who assists the firm with Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish translation. She has prior experience working with a federal government agency as a contract linguist, for which Michelle obtained a top secret security clearance. Prior to becoming a certified interpreter, Michelle was a Georgia-certified Spanish teacher who also taught English as a second language. Previously, Michelle obtained a B.A. in social sciences from the University of Puerto Rico and an M.A. in Spanish language and literature from California State University at Fresno. Furthermore, she recently satisfied the requirements of her graduate curriculum and earned her Ph.D. in educational policy studies from Georgia State University.
