Firm Helps Client Secure Zero-Dollar Settlement in Six-Figure Action

Robbins Firm attorneys recently assisted a Georgia-based tile distributor in its defense against claims for tortious interference and unjust enrichment brought by a national competitor outbid on a prestigious construction project commissioned by Simon Properties.  The competitor sought six figures in alleged damages, and additional punitive damages, arguing that it should have been entitled to distribute tile to Simon for the project.  Alexa Ross and Dan Monahan mounted a vigorous defense, including at oral argument seeking dismissal of all claims against the Robbins Firm’s client.  Just three weeks after oral argument, all claims were voluntarily dismissed with prejudice, allowing the client to continue with the project without further threat of litigation.
