Michelle is a certified court interpreter (including with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia) who assists the firm with Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish translation. She has prior experience working with a federal government agency as a contract linguist, for which Michelle obtained a top secret security clearance. Prior to becoming a certified interpreter, Michelle was a Georgia-certified Spanish teacher who also taught English as a second language. Michelle obtained a B.A. in social sciences from the University of Puerto Rico and an M.A. in Spanish language and literature from California State University at Fresno. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in social and philosophical foundations of education from Georgia State University and is working on her dissertation.
