Lisa joined the Firm after serving for six years as managing partner of the Atlanta office of Robins Kaplan (and one of the first female managing partners in the city).

Lisa has litigated and argued appeals in state and federal courts throughout the country. She has particular expertise in litigation and appeals involving the following:

  • Race, Sex and Age Discrimination Class Actions
  • International Distribution and Licensing Agreements

Lisa’s class action experience is especially significant. On defense matters, Lisa has handled a wide variety of national, regional and state class actions, including consumer, contract, discrimination, healthcare and TCPA claims. Her experience includes all aspects of class litigation, including discovery, class certification, Claims Administration and appeals. Lisa is also one of the lead counsel for the firm in the Silverman v. Volkswagen of America, Inc. lawsuit, the first Georgia class action filed against Volkswagen as a result its recent admissions regarding its emissions technology on certain diesel vehicles.

Lisa works closely with her clients to understand their goals, not only in litigation but also in business. She develops creative, proactive strategies that align with her clients’ business objectives.
