Cate Sullivan (née Berenato)

Cate joined the Robbins Firm in 2019.  Her practice focuses on representing clients in a variety of business disputes in state and federal court.  She has represented clients by litigating and resolving numerous issues, including deals gone bad, business divorces, fraud, breaches of contract, and employment disputes.  She also has experience representing clients in regulatory matters and has been involved in high-profile lawsuits defending governmental clients, several of which involved questions of constitutional law.

Prior to joining the firm, Cate practiced commercial finance at a large Atlanta law firm.  This front-end experience has greatly benefitted her practice as a litigator.  She also served as an extern for the Office of Special Masters in the United States Court of Federal Claims.  Cate received her undergraduate degree with honors from Wake Forest University, where she was a member of the varsity track and cross country teams.  She received her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.  During law school, she served as Notes/Comments Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review and was a member of Moot Court. 

Cate is a board member of the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers and a member of Georgia Audubon and the Georgia Conservancy.
